Iirc I went from 30mg citalopram to 50mg sertraline and then upped to 100mg sertraline. I've been on it for 4 weeks for anxiety and panic attacks. But it is worth perservering. I was only prescribed 10mg and tbh I cut the tablets in half and started on 5mg to see how I faired with them. See if you can get a phone consultation and discuss starting on a lower dosage. Have just been switched from citalopram to sertraline as bad neausea in morning and suffered racing heartbeat. I have a constant lump in my throat which is very uncomfortable.
